Job summary

Cedar Brook Properties, based in the Chicago area, seeks an MLS Acquisition Specialist to drive property acquisitions through MLS listings and related platforms. The role targets disciplined, data-driven decision making with a strong ownership mindset and a track record of profitable flips.

The candidate will work closely with title, legal, construction, and property management partners, traveling for on-site inspections as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in real estate acquisitions or related transactions.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in real estate, business, marketing, or sales.

Responsibilities

• Source acquisitions via MLS and listing platforms per buy-box parameters.
• Meet KPI targets for offer volume, acquisition goals, and asset performance.
• Serve as primary contact for RE agents and brokers on MLS offers and negotiations.
• Oversee acquisition pipeline, offers, and underwriting approvals.
• Document all property, offer, and transaction details in the CRM daily.
• Conduct CMAs/BPOs and estimate repairs for cash offers.
