Job summary

DC Army National Guard in Watertown, SD is seeking an MLRS Repairer to keep combat-proven launchers battle-ready. You will repair and maintain Modular Launcher systems, test firing and adjust components, and replace faulty electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical assemblies as needed.

Through your training, you will complete 10 weeks of Basic Training and 19 weeks of classroom instruction, earning a regular paycheck and qualifying for tuition assistance while serving.

Qualifications

• Must have enlisted in Army National Guard or be eligible to enlist.
• Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards.
• Must be between 17 and 35 years old, with a high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical assemblies to isolate malfunctions.
• Perform unit maintenance on system Peculiar test, training, and ancillary equipment.
• Assist in fault isolating launcher-loader module electronic modules and assemblies.
