Job summary

The DC Army National Guard is seeking a MLRS Repairer to keep artillery systems battle-ready, including MLRS, HIMARS, and self-propelled launchers. You’ll learn to repair and maintain complex weapons systems through hands-on training and classroom instruction.

Expect 10 weeks of Basic Training and 19 weeks of classroom instruction, with benefits including paid training, tuition assistance, and a regular paycheck during service.

Qualifications

• Understanding schematics, drawings, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
• Ability to test, repair, and maintain weapons systems and components.
• Experience with electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical assemblies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical assemblies to isolate malfunctions.
• Perform unit maintenance on system test and training equipment.
• Assist in fault isolation of launcher-loader electronic modules.
