Job summary

DC Army National Guard is seeking a MLRS Crewmember to operate and maintain the self-propelled launch systems in support of infantry and armored units.

You will learn to drive, reload, and maintain the MLRS, work with fire control and comms equipment, and develop teamwork, discipline, and leadership skills through 10 weeks of Basic Training followed by four weeks of Advanced Individual Training. Part-time service includes tuition assistance and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be physically and mentally fit to perform under pressure.
• Requires ability to multitask and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Drive and maintain the self-propelled launch vehicles.
• Reload ammunition and resupply vehicles.
• Test and maintain fire control systems.
• Mount radio sets and communication systems in all vehicles.
