Job summary

The DC Army National Guard is seeking a MLRS Repairer to help keep artillery systems battle-ready, including the MLRS, HMARS, and launcher-loader platforms. You will train in a hands-on environment and perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs to ensure peak readiness.

Typical duties include troubleshooting electrical and mechanical assemblies, testing weapon systems, and contributing to safety and reliability of fielded systems. Interest in weapons and strong attention to detail are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet standards.
• Interest in weapons systems and electronics helpful.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair artillery and related electromechanical assemblies.
• Test firing, adjust systems, and ensure launcher readiness.
• Maintain gyroscopes, sights, electrical and hydraulic components.
