Job summary

Apple Inc. in Austin, TX seeks a senior ML/EMIR software engineer to build an analytic platform for IR/EM signoff activity. You will design ML/NLP solutions to understand and interact with EDA tools and scale across silicon design flows.

You will work with CAD groups and vendors to enhance efficiency, generate actionable reports, and drive improvements in power grid integrity. A BS with 10+ years and strong Python/UNIX skills are expected.

Qualifications

• BS + 10 years in relevant industry experience.
• Experience in object‑oriented programming, data structures and algorithms.
• Experience applying ML/NLP/LLMs in industry settings.

Responsibilities

• Develop ML/LLM apps to understand and interact with EDA software.
• Design integration with compute infrastructure for scalable workflows.
• Generate customized reports to identify IR/EM issues and improve power grid integrity.
• Collaborate with Physical-design, Circuit-design, Power, and Package teams on IR/EM requirements.
• Engage with EDA vendors to improve efficiency and capacity.
