Hadrian, a leader in autonomous factories, is seeking a people-first engineering leader to head Technical Data Intelligence. You will hire, mentor, and guide a team building ML, CV, and data systems to render engineering data actionable for automation and factory planning.

You'll stay hands-on when needed, drive architecture and staffing decisions, and partner with engineers and leadership to align technical work with business goals.

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years of engineering management experience leading machine learning engineering teams in production.
• Strong technical depth in ML, computer vision (detection/segmentation), multimodal image+text models, or data engineering.
• Strong judgment on organizational design: team structure and headcount allocation.
• Experience shipping models to production and maintaining endpoint health.
• Proven track record of healthy team culture with feedback and ownership.
• Interest or background in manufacturing and strong cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the people leadership of your engineers: hiring, onboarding, mentorship, career growth, and performance.
• Stay technically hands-on as a player-coach: participate in design reviews and contribute directly when needed.
• Set technical direction and investment in headcount with engineering leads.
• Build and maintain annotation tooling, active learning loops, and synthetic data augmentation strategies.
• Ensure engineers are engaged, growing, and set up to do their best work.
