Job summary

Hadrian is hiring in Torrance, CA for a role building autonomous, data-driven manufacturing systems. You will own the analytics layer, datasets, and ML models to predict build quality and detect process issues.

You will collaborate across engineering, ensure data quality, and push for closed-loop actions within production. A BS in a related field and 4+ years in manufacturing data are required; on-site work and ITAR compliance apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 4+ years in manufacturing data systems or data-driven manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience developing and deploying AI/ML models in manufacturing.
• Proficiency in Python, ML frameworks, and SQL for large data.
• Experience building datasets from structured and time-series data.
• Familiarity with 8D/5 Whys/fishbone and SPC methods.

Responsibilities

• Own monitoring and analytics layer for AM fleet, including alerts.
• Own curated datasets, feature definitions, and labeling workflows.
• Design and deploy AI/ML models on manufacturing data to predict quality and anomalies.
• Build feature engineering and model infrastructure with data quality checks.
• Develop dashboards and AI-driven alerts for real-time visibility.
• Integrate model outputs into production workflow and drive actions.
• Collaborate with Materials, Process, and Application Engineering for validation.
• Apply SPC to process data and define control limits and drift.
• Support qualification data with capability analyses for installations.
• Lead structured problem solving on escapes and anomalies using 8D/5 Whys
• Drive corrective actions to verified closure.
