Hadrian is building autonomous factories to accelerate precision manufacturing for aerospace and defense. As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will design, build, and scale agent-based systems that read engineering drawings, extract structured data, and drive factory planning.

You will work on image processing, CAD registration, and evaluation pipelines, applying frontier models and traditional computer vision to real manufacturing docs.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• AI native builder with strong business and product sense.
• 5+ years in Machine Learning and/or Computer Vision, including ownership from prototype to production.
• Hands-on experience building LLM or VLM based agents, including tool use and structured outputs.
• Experience designing evaluations for non-deterministic systems and deciding what ships.

Mansioni

• Design, build and deploy agentic systems that read multi-page engineering drawing sets, including page classification and extraction of parts lists, notes, tables, dimensions, GD&T, and weld symbols.
• Build tools for agents including image processing, geometry, and CAD registration; decide which parts belong in code vs model.
• Own evaluation across the system with gold datasets, accuracy metrics, LLM-as-judge rubrics, and online checks for failures without ground truth.
• Work in all facets of the agent lifecycle including prompt/exemplar design, orchestration, tracing, cost/latency, and production pipelines that feed data into databases and apps.
• Combine frontier models, open-source tools, and classic computer vision to create world-class document understanding systems for manufacturing.
