Job summary

Prediction Lab is a remote-first startup building a cutting-edge predictive modeling platform. As a Machine Learning Engineer, you'll own the modeling engine from research to production, delivering real value to users and shaping the product's future.

You'll work closely with the founder, push for high-quality models, and own end-to-end aspects from data to deployment. We value autonomy, ownership, and a thoughtful, rigorous approach to production ML.

Qualifications

• Experience taking machine learning models to production at a software company with a high engineering bar.
• Experience with the full modeling lifecycle, from data and features through training, evaluation, and monitoring.
• Cares deeply about rigorous evaluation and knowing when a model is genuinely better.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship the modeling engine at the core of the product, owning the design from research to production.
• Lead modeling innovation, with a focus on the latest in machine learning and artificial intelligence.
• Own model quality, from evaluation and benchmarking through to what ships.
• Shape the product and its future, to lead the new era of predictive modeling.
• Elevate the team, by bringing your own ideas and expertise to the table.
• Partner with the founder, to build a product that our users love.
