Job summary

C.H. Guenther & Son, Inc. in Elk Grove, CA is seeking a Mixer (Flour) to ensure batches meet quality and yield standards and align with the production schedule. You will prepare dough per recipes, monitor ingredients, and document process data in our ERP/TGI systems.

Responsibilities include maintaining food safety compliance, performing changeovers, coordinating with machine operators, and keeping the mixing area clean and audit-ready. Prior experience with food manufacturing is preferred.

Qualifications

• Grade School level education; High School Diploma/GED is a plus.
• 1–2 years of experience operating food manufacturing machinery or similar.
• 1–2 years following SOPs, recipes, and work task specifications.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety and food safety standards and participate in safety training.
• Ensure compliance with SQF, GMP, HACCP, OSHA and company policies.
• Prepare batches according to recipes and production schedule.
• Verify ingredients before mixing and coordinate with operator on dough consistency.
• Maintain accurate production records in the ERP and TGI systems.
• Monitor mixing parameters (temperature, pressure, appearance) to meet quality and yield targets.
• Report equipment malfunctions and support preventive maintenance.
• Keep mixing areas clean, organized, and audit-ready.
• Communicate with machine operator to coordinate changes and breaks.
• Assist with changeovers and ensure waste stays within limits.
