Job summary

Custom Culinary, a subsidiary of Griffith Foods, is hiring a Mixing Operator to join our Production Team in Avon, OH. The role involves safe operation and setup of mixing equipment, troubleshooting production lines, and ensuring compliance with GMP, HACCP, and Griffith Production System.

Shift is Monday–Friday, 1pm–9:30pm with occasional Saturday overtime; onsite role requiring ability to lift up to 60 lbs and read/ follow English instructions. Benefits and career growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 60 pounds during shift.
• Fluent reading/writing/speaking English; follow written instructions.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics AX or similar is a plus.
• Willingness to work overtime, including Saturdays if needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate production equipment and monitor performance.
• Verify accurate counts of raw materials for blending.
• Discharge blended product using prescribed screen size via PLC kettles.
• Discharge blended product and ensure proper sampling per requirements.
• Complete daily scheduling documentation for production and quality.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and the work area; dispose of waste.
• Regularly lift up to 60 lbs; stand, walk, and position as needed.
