Custom Culinary®, a subsidiary of Griffith Foods, is hiring a Mixing Operator for the second shift in Avon, OH. The role involves safe operation and setup of mixing equipment, including troubleshooting in accordance with GMP and HACCP standards.

You will load ingredients, monitor blends, perform sampling, and maintain documentation of production and quality metrics. Requirements include lifting up to 60 lbs, fluent English, basic math, and ERP experience.

Qualifications

• Lifts up to 60 pounds repeatedly during shift
• Proficient reading/writing/speaking English
• Proficient in basic arithmetic for material counts and batching
• Familiarity with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics AX or RedZone)
• Willing to overtime including Saturdays as needed
• Able to stand, walk, and operate in a production environment
• Able to work onsite in Avon, OH
• No visa sponsorship available for this role

Responsibilities

• Safely operate mixing equipment and loading of ingredients
• Verify accurate counts of raw materials for blending
• Discharge blended product from blender using PLC touchscreen kettles
• Adhere to customer sampling requirements for blended product
• Document production, quality, and performance in daily schedule
• Clean and sanitize equipment and work area
• Dispose of trash and maintain a clean生产 space
• Lift up to 60 lbs as needed during shift

TITLE: Mixing Operator - Second Shift

LOCATION: Onsite in Avon, OH

SHIFT & HOURS: Monday thru Friday, 1pm – 9:30pm (Saturday overtime as needed)

Hiring Hourly Rate: $21.36/hr. (plus $2 shift differential)

Custom Culinary®, a subsidiary of Griffith Foods, is hiring a Mixing Operator to join our Production Team. The Mixing Operatoris responsible forthe safe operation and loading of mixing equipmentandfor operating, setting up, and troubleshooting production equipmentin accordance withcompany quality, safety, and regulatory standards (Good Manufacturing Practice,Hazard Analysis,Critical Control Point, andGriffith Production System).

As a Mixing Operator your responsibilities will include:

• Ability to safelyoperateproductionequipment.
• Verify and ensureaccuratecounts of raw materials needed to produce a blended product.
• Dischargingblended product from the blender using the prescribed screen sizebyoperatingthe PLC touchscreen kettles.
• Dischargingblended product from the blender using the prescribed screen size.
• Following specified customer sampling requirementsofblended product.
• Filling out of daily schedule control to document production, quality, and performance.
• Cleaning and sanitizing theproductionequipmentand tools,includingworkarea.
• Disposal of trash and garbage containers.
• Ability to safelylift upto 60lbs.regularly throughout theshift

Qualified candidates will have:

• Ability toregularly lift and/or carry up to60 poundsthroughout the shift
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently,including the ability to read andcomprehendinstructions, short correspondence, and memos; ability to write simple correspondence; and the ability to communicate with individuals and small groups.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Workingknowledge ofEnterprise Resources Planning systems such asMicrosoft Dynamics AXorRedZoneor similar.
• Working overtime as needed throughout the week, up to and including Saturday work.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch for extended periods during the shift
• Comfortable working with and around allergens andcleaningchemicals
• Must be able to work onsite in Avon, OH

Candidates must currentlybe at least 18 years of age ANDpossessunrestricted authorization to work in the United States. Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

What will set you apart:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 3months experience and/or trainingin aUSDA regulatedmanufacturing environment
• Experienceoperatingmixing or blending equipment.
• Familiarity with food safety requirements.
• Working knowledge ofMicrosoft Dynamics AX and RedZoneERPsoftware.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee isfrequentlyrequired to sit,standand walk to communicate and listen effectively. This will require both office and plant environments. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Safely navigate stairs and ladders

Environmental Concerns:

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock. The employee is occasionally exposed towet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud; hearing protection isrequiredin designated areas. Dust and odor present inenvironment.

2 Year Earning Potential Based on Performance

• 6 Months - $22.10/hr.
• 12 Months-$22.80/hr.
• 24 Months-$23.56/hr.
