Job summary

Lauren Concrete, Inc. is seeking a CDL driver to deliver concrete to job sites. You will be responsible for loading, unloading, and maintaining your vehicle, while ensuring safety and compliance with all laws.

Must hold a valid Texas Class B CDL with a clean MVR and be at least 21 years old. Pre-trip and post-trip inspections, proper loading techniques, and efficient delivery are essential responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Clean driving record (no major violations).
• Minimum age 21 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, load, unload, and handle concrete products.
• Perform pre-trip inspections of vehicle and equipment.
• Perform post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs.

Job description

Actively promotes a work environment within the Operations Department that consistently delivers a World Class Experience during the delivery of the concrete. Responsible for delivering quality concrete safely and efficiently while adhering to all Federal, State, and local laws.

• - Display a positive attitude, a professional appearance and demeanor on all jobs with all customers, both internally and externally
• - Perform pre-trip inspections: clean windshield, side windows, mirrors and cameras each time before leaving the plant or job site, check for fluid leaks, and consult Driver Vehicle Inspection Report notebook
• - Confirm job site address prior to departure
• - Maintain a clean truck interior and exterior
• - Responsible for the process of loading, handling, delivering and unloading of the product, including the slump, load tickets, revolutions, chutes, admixes, etc.
• - Perform post-trip inspection, notifying plant manager of maintenance needs.
• - Understand and/or knowledge with operation of Electronic Logging Device (ELD)

Education/Experience

• - One to three years of similar or related experience preferred.
• - Must be 21 years of age or older
• - Possess a current Commercial Driver’s License (minimum class B)
• - Valid State of Texas commercial driver’s license required along with a “violation-free” Department of Motor Vehicle record
