Job summary

Lauren Concrete, Inc. is seeking a reliable delivery driver to operate in our Texas fleet. The role emphasizes safe loading, delivery, and unloading of concrete while complying with all laws and company policies.

You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, manage ELD operations, and uphold a professional appearance with customers. A Class B CDL and a clean driving record are required, with 1–3 years of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of similar or related experience preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Possess a current Commercial Driver’s License (minimum class B).
• Valid State of Texas CDL required with a violation-free DMV record.

Responsibilities

• Load, handle, deliver and unload concrete product, including slump, load tickets, revolutions, chutes, admixes.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and post-trip inspections; report maintenance needs.
• Maintain clean truck interior and exterior.
• Operate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) and comply with laws and company policies.
• Represent Lauren Concrete professionally to customers and internal teams.

Job description

Actively promotes a work environment within the Operations Department that consistently delivers a World Class Experience during the delivery of the concrete. Responsible for delivering quality concrete safely and efficiently while adhering to all Federal, State, and local laws.

• - Display a positive attitude, a professional appearance and demeanor on all jobs with all customers, both internally and externally
• - Perform pre-trip inspections: clean windshield, side windows, mirrors and cameras each time before leaving the plant or job site, check for fluid leaks, and consult Driver Vehicle Inspection Report notebook
• - Confirm job site address prior to departure
• - Maintain a clean truck interior and exterior
• - Responsible for the process of loading, handling, delivering and unloading of the product, including the slump, load tickets, revolutions, chutes, admixes, etc.
• - Perform post-trip inspection, notifying plant manager of maintenance needs.
• - Understand and/or knowledge with operation of Electronic Logging Device (ELD)
