Job summary

Lauren Concrete is seeking a qualified CDL driver to operate at Plant 6 Manor in Manor, TX. The role focuses on delivering quality concrete safely and efficiently, with adherence to all laws and company standards.

Responsibilities include pre-trip and post-trip inspections, loading and unloading concrete, and maintaining vehicle cleanliness. You will also confirm addresses, monitor slump and tickets, and operate ELD compliant with regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Hold a current Class B CDL.
• Texas CDL with violation-free DMV record.
• Ability to lift 45–70 lbs several times a day.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip inspections: clean windshield, windows, mirrors, cameras, and check for fluid leaks.
• Confirm job site address prior to departure.
• Maintain a clean truck interior and exterior.
• Load, unload and deliver product, including monitoring slump, load tickets, revolutions, chutes, admixes.
• Perform post-trip inspection and report maintenance needs.
• Operate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) as required.

Job Location: Plant 6 Manor - Manor, TX 78653

Actively promotes a work environment within the Operations Department that consistently delivers a World Class Experience during the delivery of the concrete. Responsible for delivering quality concrete safely and efficiently while adhering to all Federal, State, and local laws.

• Display a positive attitude, a professional appearance and demeanor on all jobs with all customers, both internally and externally
• Perform pre-trip inspections: clean windshield, side windows, mirrors and cameras each time before leaving the plant or job site, check for fluid leaks, and consult Driver Vehicle Inspection Report notebook
• Confirm job site address prior to departure
• Maintain a clean truck interior and exterior
• Responsible for the process of loading, handling, delivering and unloading of the product, including the slump, load tickets, revolutions, chutes, admixes, etc.
• Perform post-trip inspection, notifying plant manager of maintenance needs.
• Understand and/or knowledge with operation of Electronic Logging Device (ELD)

Education/Experience

• One to three years of similar or related experience preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a current Commercial Driver’s License (minimum class B)
• Valid State of Texas commercial driver’s license required along with a “violation-free” Department of Motor Vehicle record
