Job summary

Thomasville Restoration is seeking a Water Mitigation Technician to support families affected by water damage across the Mid-Atlantic. This on-site role focuses on rapid response, safe mitigation, and restoring homes with a compassionate, family-first approach.

You will work with crew chiefs and lead technicians, manage equipment and vehicles, and ensure quality service while maintaining a clean, organized work environment. Join a team dedicated to restoring homes and lives with care.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required
• At least 1 year of experience in water mitigation or disaster restoration preferred
• IICRC certification preferred
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive, team-oriented mindset
• Reliable, hands-on, and comfortable with on-the-road work

Responsibilities

• Communicate with crew chiefs and lead technicians to understand and meet customer needs
• Respond to emergency service calls as part of Thomasville Restoration’s commitment to rapid response
• Perform mitigation processes following company guidelines and instructions from crew chiefs/lead technicians
• Inventory, load, and prepare vans with equipment, products, and supplies for jobs
• Clean, disinfect, and inspect equipment regularly to ensure safe use
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle with proper equipment appearance
• Perform end-of-job and end-of-day cleanup and breakdown
• Take ownership of responsibilities and suggest ways to improve efficiency
• Assist with other duties and tasks as business needs evolve
