Job summary

Thomasville Restoration is seeking a Water Mitigation Technician to join our Baltimore team. You will respond to emergency service calls, perform mitigation tasks per guidelines, and support crews with equipment and supplies to restore homes quickly and safely.

This role emphasizes attention to detail, reliability, and a hands-on, road-based schedule. IICRC certification is preferred, and a valid license is required to operate company vehicles.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• 1 year of water mitigation or disaster restoration experience preferred.
• IICRC certification preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
• Reliable, hands-on, and comfortable with on-the-road work.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with crew chiefs and lead technicians to understand and meet customer needs.
• Respond to emergency service calls as part of rapid response commitment.
• Perform mitigation processes following company guidelines and instructions from crew chiefs/lead technicians.
• Inventory, load, and prepare vans with equipment, products, and supplies for jobs.
• Clean, disinfect, and inspect equipment regularly to ensure safe use.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle with proper equipment appearance.
• Perform end-of-job and end-of-day cleanup and breakdown.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly vehicle and equipment maintenance checklists.
• Take ownership of responsibilities and suggest ways to improve efficiency.
• Assist with other duties and tasks as business needs evolve.
