Job summary

Thomasville Restoration is seeking a Water Mitigation Technician to join our Mid-Atlantic team. You will respond to water damage calls, follow company guidelines, and support families by starting the restoration process quickly and professionally.

You will communicate with crew chiefs, prepare vans with equipment, perform mitigation tasks, clean and disinfect gear, and help maintain vehicles. This role requires a reliable, hands-on teammate who can work on-site across the region.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of water mitigation or disaster restoration experience.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• IICRC certification preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with crew chiefs and lead technicians to understand and meet customer needs.
• Respond to emergency service calls as part of rapid response commitment.
• Perform mitigation processes following company guidelines and instructions from crew chiefs/lead technicians.
• Inventory, load, and prepare vans with equipment, products, and supplies for jobs.
• Clean, disinfect, and inspect equipment regularly to ensure safe use.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle with proper equipment appearance.
• Perform end-of-job and end-of-day cleanup and breakdown.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly vehicle and equipment maintenance checklists.
• Take ownership of responsibilities and suggest ways to improve efficiency.
• Assist with other duties and tasks as business needs evolve.
