Job summary

Thomasville Restoration is seeking a Water Mitigation Technician in the Mid-Atlantic region to support rapid response and on-site mitigation for homes affected by water damage.

You'll coordinate with lead technicians, perform mitigation steps per guidelines, maintain vehicles and equipment, and ensure safety and cleanliness on every job. A valid driver's license and at least 1 year of water mitigation experience are preferred; IICRC certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license is required.
• 1 year of water mitigation or disaster restoration experience preferred.
• IICRC certification preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
• Reliable, hands-on, and comfortable with on-the-road work.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency service calls as part of rapid response commitment.
• Perform mitigation processes following company guidelines and guidance from crew chiefs/lead technicians.
• Inventory, load, and prepare vans with equipment, products, and supplies for jobs.
• Clean, disinfect, and inspect equipment regularly for safe use.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle with proper equipment appearance.
• Perform end-of-job and end-of-day cleanup and breakdown.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly vehicle and equipment maintenance checklists.
• Take ownership of responsibilities and suggest efficiency improvements.
• Assist with other duties and tasks as business needs evolve.
