Job summary

Paul Davis Restoration is seeking an experienced Mitigation Project Manager to lead emergency restoration projects from inspection through completion and transition to reconstruction when needed.

You will own every aspect of the mitigation projects, including customer experience, scope development, documentation quality, technician performance, insurance compliance, scheduling, equipment utilization, project profitability, and a seamless handoff to reconstruction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of restoration mitigation project management experience.
• Strong knowledge of water damage restoration, structural drying, mold remediation, and environmental restoration.
• Proven ability to manage residential and commercial mitigation projects from inspection to completion.
• Understanding of IICRC standards and restoration principles.
• Proven ability to communicate with homeowners, clients, adjusters, and subcontractors.
• Experience reviewing estimates for completeness and constructability using Xactimate/XactAnalysis/Symbility.

Responsibilities

• Own mitigation projects from initial inspection through completion and transition to reconstruction when required.
• Perform detailed field inspections of properties affected by water, fire, mold, and environmental losses.
• Educate homeowners, clients, and insurers on restoration methods, timelines, and expectations.
• Lead technicians, manage safety, and ensure high-quality documentation.
• Develop complete mitigation scopes of work using IICRC standards and best practices.
• Manage drying plans with psychrometry, moisture mapping, and daily monitoring.
• Review and negotiate estimates with insurance carriers and adjusters.
• Identify supplemental opportunities and pursue them throughout the process.
