Job summary

Paul Davis Restoration is seeking a Mitigation Project Manager to join our Waukegan team. This hands‑on leadership role will oversee projects from initial loss through completion, coordinating crews, communicating with customers and insurance professionals, and ensuring safety and standards.

You do not need to have the Project Manager title; strong restoration experience and readiness for more responsibility are required. Manage projects with a focus on quality and profitability.

Qualifications

• Restoration experience strongly preferred.
• Experience in water, fire, mold mitigation is a plus.
• Ability to lead projects and coordinate cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage water, fire, mold, and other mitigation projects from start to finish.
• Assess losses, determine scope, and develop a clear plan of action.
• Coordinate technicians, equipment, subcontractors, and project schedules.
• Maintain consistent communication with customers throughout the restoration process.
• Work with adjusters, agents, and other insurance professionals.
• Monitor project documentation, photos, moisture readings, job notes, and required paperwork.
• Keep projects moving while managing quality, timelines, and profitability.
• Identify issues early and make decisions to keep jobs on track.
• Support and coach field team members while setting clear expectations.
• Participate in the on‑call rotation as needed.
