Job summary

South Carolina Office of Resilience is seeking a diligent professional to support the Mitigation Department. The role assists in implementing Match and Plans & Studies programs, coordinating applications, selecting projects, and procuring contractors.

It also involves data entry, outreach planning, and potential project management support. A high school diploma is required, with a preference for candidates holding a bachelor's degree and relevant program experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required with relevant program experience.
• Knowledge of Disaster Recovery laws, rules, and procedures.
• Ability to interpret and apply regulations and policies.
• Strong written and oral communication; ability to coordinate with multiple entities.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist Mitigation Program Manager with implementation of SCOR's Match and Plans & Studies programs.
• Coordinate application and selection process for Match and Plans & Studies projects.
• Assist in procurement of contractors for Plans & Studies projects; coordinate with local governments.
• Support administrative functions in the Match and Plans & Studies sections.
• Input data into agency record systems and assist in outreach planning for Mitigation programs.
• Provide project management, technical assistance, and compliance inspections as directed.
• Contribute to development of policies and procedures.

Education
