Restoration 1 New Jersey in Denville is seeking a seasoned leader to own our mitigation department (water, fire, smoke and mold). You will run the crews, set the standards, and build the team; this is not a role for someone who only wants to dispatch jobs.

You'll manage daily scheduling, ensure quality from first call to final invoice, document scopes in Xactimate, train staff, and coordinate with adjusters and managers on site while upholding safety and equipment standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in water and fire mitigation, including at least 2 years leading crews.
• IICRC WRT and ASD required; AMRT and FSRT strongly preferred.
• Strong Xactimate skills for mitigation.
• Experience with job documentation tools (Mitigate, Companycam, or similar).
• Track record of clean files and low invoice reductions.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Responsabilités

• Daily scheduling and leadership of mitigation technicians and crew leads.
• Job quality from first call to final invoice: drying plans, moisture logs, photos, and equipment records that hold up to adjuster and TPA review.
• Accurate Xactimate/Symbility scopes and estimates for mitigation.
• Reviewing every job file before it is invoiced.
• Hiring, training, and coaching techs, and holding them accountable.
• Working with adjusters, TPAs, property managers, and homeowners on site.
• Equipment, vehicle, and safety standards.
• Rotating on-call coverage for emergencies.
