Job summary

Restoration 1 in New Jersey seeks a leader to own the mitigation department, overseeing water, fire, smoke, and mold recovery. You’ll run the crews, set standards, and build the team, not just dispatch jobs.

Responsibilities include daily scheduling, ensuring job quality, preparing accurate scopes, reviewing files, and coaching technicians. You’ll work with adjusters and homeowners on site and manage safety and equipment standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in water and fire mitigation, including at least 2 years leading crews.
• IICRC WRT and ASD required; AMRT and FSRT strongly preferred
• Strong Xactimate skills for mitigation
• Experience with job documentation tools (Mitigate, Companycam, or similar)
• Track record of clean files and low invoice reductions
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record

We're looking for one leader to own our mitigation department: water, fire, smoke, and mold. You'll run

the crews, set the standards, and build the team. This is not a role for someone who just wants to

dispatch jobs.
