Job summary

Rumsey Construction & Restoration is seeking a Mitigation Manager to oversee the mitigation department across multiple locations, directing daily operations, field supervisors, and subcontractors. You will handle invoicing, training, and strategic planning while communicating with customers, insurance adjusters, and internal teams.

This role reports to the Chief of Operations and requires coordinating with other departments to ensure projects return properties to pre-loss condition with quality

Qualifications

• Fluent in English.
• Minimum of 2 years field experience or IICRC certifications.
• Mitigation and water drying experience.
• Related experience in Construction, Restoration, and/or Insurance.

Responsibilities

• Proven ability to multitask and is detail oriented.
• Lead and manage supervisors and technicians, providing support, supervision, and direction.
• Assist in the development and implementation of business strategies and procedures to ensure efficient operations.
• Proficient in assessing the extent of damage and help with site inspections.
• High level knowledge and performance of water mitigation, board up, mold remediation, and fire and smoke procedures.
• Maintain equipment tracking system and provide monthly inventory while ensuring supplies are sufficient.
• Provide daily updates to insurance adjusters, customers, and team.
• Coordinate with adjusters during the estimating process.
• Maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
• Develop supervisory and technical training programs.
