Job summary

Great American Insurance Group's Crop Division in Missouri is seeking a Crop Business Developer. This remote position requires up to 75% travel within the territory and focuses on developing a productive agency plant, creating marketing plans, and managing agency relationships.

You will evaluate agents, provide product training, and support profitability goals while maintaining strong customer service and effective communication across teams.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Generally, at least 6 months of crop insurance, sales, business development or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Has responsibility for developing a productive agency plant/territory.
• Prospects, appoints, and manages agency relationships to achieve production and profitability objectives.
• Markets and provides strategic training on company products and services to existing and prospective agencies.
• Reviews and analyzes agents' production and results; implements corrective measures as needed.
• Maintains a high level of customer service and builds strong internal/external relationships.
