Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Cedar Rapids is seeking a highly motivated Electronics technician (MSEL Engineering Technician) to support MiS Engineering and Value Stream teams in the design and development of complex systems. This is a 100% onsite role involving prototype builds, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic assemblies.

The position requires an AA/AS degree with at least 6 years of relevant experience, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• AA/AS degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

• Support Eng teams with prototype build, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic assemblies.
• Build of various Test Fixtures and Cable Assemblies.
• Review and revise test and engineering documentation.
• Maintain and inventory repair and engineering parts stock.
• Support production test stations.
• Apply advanced electronic theory and testing to solve problems.
• Work autonomously or in a team with good communication.
