Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Mission Systems Engineering Labs (MSEL) Engineering Technician to support the design and development of complex systems in a 100% onsite role. A U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance are required.

You will assist engineering teams with prototype builds, test fixtures, documentation, and parts inventory, while ensuring Environmental, Health & Safety and RTX Quality compliance. Travel may be requested but is not required.

Qualifications

• Requires AA/AS degree with minimum 6 years of relevant experience.
• Electronics degree required.
• Familiar with test equipment and systems test principles.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering teams with prototype build, testing and debugging of electronic assemblies.
• Build test fixtures and cable assemblies.
• Review and revise test and engineering documentation.
• Maintain and inventory repair and engineering parts stock.
• Support production test stations.
• Apply advanced electronic theory to solve problems.
• Lead by example with strong communication and teamwork.
• Ensure EH&S, RTX Quality and security compliance for Labs.
