Job summary

North Point Technology is seeking a Test Engineer to join a cross-functional Agile Scrum team delivering geospatial intelligence software capabilities in support of critical national security missions. This role requires an active Top Secret/SCI clearance and a polygraph; you will work with engineers, product managers, and mission experts to ensure robust testing in a DevSecOps environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with ability to pass a Polygraph examination.
Certifications such as ISTQB, CASTP, CAST, CSTE, or Security+ preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead the planning, design, development, and execution of comprehensive test strategies across multiple Agile sprints.
Design, develop, and maintain automated and manual test cases for new and existing capabilities.
Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, systems engineers, and Scrum Masters to define acceptance criteria.
Validate application performance, reliability, security, and usability.
Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution; support CI/CD by integrating automated testing into deployment workflows.
Analyze test results and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.
