Job summary

North Point Technology is seeking a Test Engineer to support a geospatial intelligence software development program serving a national security mission. This role requires an active Top Secret/SCI clearance and the ability to successfully pass a Polygraph examination.

You will work within a cross-functional Agile Scrum team to design and execute comprehensive test strategies across rapid, iterative development cycles in a DevSecOps environment, ensuring reliable, secure, and high-performing

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or related field.
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with ability to pass a polygraph.
US citizenship required.
Certifications such as ISTQB, CASTP, CAST, CSTE, Security+, or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead the planning, design, development, and execution of test strategies spanning multiple Agile sprints.
Develop and maintain automated and manual test cases for new and existing capabilities.
Collaborate daily with software engineers, product managers, systems engineers, and Scrum Masters to define acceptance criteria and ensure quality.
Testing responsibilities span functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing; validate performance, reliability, security, and usability.
Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution; integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
