Job summary

North Point Technology is seeking a Test Engineer to join a cross-functional Agile Scrum team supporting an Intelligence Community program that builds geospatial intelligence capabilities for national security missions.

You will design and execute manual and automated tests, integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines, validate performance and security, and collaborate with software engineers, product managers, systems engineers, and Scrum Masters to ensure quality releases.

Qualifications

Experience planning and executing test strategies in Agile environments.
Ability to design manual and automated test plans and maintain test cases.
Proficient with Cypress, Playwright, Postman or REST Assured for API and UI testing.
Familiarity with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps) and defect tracking (Jira).
Bachelor's or higher in CS/Engineering/IT with DoD/IC program exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead test strategy across multiple sprints and maintain test cases.
Collaborate with engineers, PMs, and mission experts to define acceptance criteria.
Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing.
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and analyze results.
Identify defects and drive resolution while supporting process improvement.
