Job summary

North Point Technology is seeking a Test Engineer to join a cross-functional Agile Scrum team delivering geospatial intelligence software for national security missions.

The role requires an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph eligibility and offers collaboration with engineers, product managers, systems engineers, and mission experts to ensure reliable, secure software through robust manual and automated testing in a DevSecOps environment.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with ability to pass a Polygraph examination
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
• US citizenship required
• Experience with Agile software development and Scrum team participation
• Experience creating and executing manual and automated test plans and scripts
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as Jira and CI/CD pipelines

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, development, and execution of comprehensive test strategies across multiple Agile sprints
• Develop and maintain automated and manual test cases for new and existing capabilities
• Validate application performance, reliability, security, and usability
• Support CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated testing into deployment workflows
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects through resolution
