Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Mission Software Lead to own the onboard software ecosystem of the ALTIUS-600 platform. You’ll lead mission autonomy, core infrastructure, C2, and flight software, guiding a team that bridges hardware interfaces, deterministic vehicle controls, edge compute, and autonomous decisions.

You’ll collaborate with leads across GNC, Avionics, Systems, and Hardware to deliver robust, certifiable software that meets safety and mission-readiness goals for Group 1–3 UAV programs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience on high performing software teams.
• 3+ years direct management experience of 5+ people.
• Hands-on technical work on interdisciplinary projects (robotics/autonomy).
• Strong embedded systems fundamentals: real-time, drivers, Linux/RTOS.

Responsibilities

• Own the onboard software ecosystem for the ALTIUS-600 platform.
• Lead mission autonomy, core infrastructure, C2, and flight software (VMS).
• Mentor and grow a high-performing software/robotics team.
• Collaborate with GNC, Avionics, Systems, and Hardware leads across programs.
