Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Mission Software Engineer for the Imaging Interfaces team. This role blends field support with end‑to‑end software ownership, triaging issues across the stack and coordinating with customers.

You will extend production services on edge devices, diagnose deployments with field operators, and represent the team in external integrations. Travel ~15% is expected, with opportunities to influence system-wide reliability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software development with production responsibility.
• Strong Python and C++ skills; able to work in either language.
• 3+ years in Linux-based environments, including bare-metal hardware.

Responsibilities

• Own fielded system health and uptime across deployed imaging systems.
• Build and maintain modular production services on edge devices.
• Support field operations by diagnosing issues with field operators.
• Represent the team in integrations with other products and teams, including remote and on-site work.
• Maintain end-to-end understanding of hardware, firmware, networking, and software stacks.
• Collaborate across firmware, hardware, and platform teams.
• Travel approximately 15% for field testing and customer integrations.
