Job summary

Leidos in Bethesda, MD is seeking a TS/SCI-cleared DevOps Platform Engineer/Linux Systems Administrator to support the DOMEX Technology Platform. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, or related field, or equivalent experience with 4+ years.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain/maintain TS/SCI with Poly.
• DoD 8140 IAT Level II or higher certification (e.g., CySA+, Security+CE).
• Kubernetes administration and operations experience.
• Linux administration, patching, hardening, and performance monitoring.
• Experience with Elastic/Redis or similar data platforms.
• Infrastructure automation tools: Terraform, Ansible, Bash, Python.
• Document technical work clearly and maintainable, with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, monitor, and maintain a Kubernetes-based platform for a production big-data pipeline.
• Administer Linux-based applications, including configuration, patching, and hardening.
• Ensure platform security, reliability, and performance across environments.
• Support automation, CI/CD, and DevOps practices across teams.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and operations groups in an Agile setting.
