Job summary

Axon is seeking a Mission Operator II to serve as the trusted technical advisor for public safety agencies, helping customers maximize Axon's technology ecosystem across the lifecycle. You anticipate issues and drive lasting operational improvements, blending software, hardware, cloud, and data insights.

Location is on-site at Axon customer agencies in the Greater Albuquerque Area, with responsibilities spanning deployments, architecture guidance, escalations, and customer enablement to achieve

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in technical account management, customer success, implementation, solution engineering, or similar roles.
• Experience supporting enterprise software, SaaS, cloud tech, or integrated environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Working knowledge of networking, cloud infrastructure, enterprise integrations, and modern IT environments.
• Proven ability to independently manage complex customer relationships.
• Strong executive communication and consulting skills.
• Ability to travel as required.
• Ability to obtain CJIS compliance and satisfy background requirements.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Customer Partnership: act as the primary technical advisor for assigned public safety agencies and build trusted stakeholder relationships.
• Technical Leadership: troubleshoot complex software/hardware/networking/cloud issues and lead escalations.
• Deployment & Operational Excellence: lead deployments, drive adoption, and identify workflow improvements.
• Data & Customer Insights: analyze health/adoption metrics using Power BI/SQL and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Training & Enablement: deliver advanced training and develop customer best practices and documentation.
• Field Leadership: lead onsite deployments, executive engagements, and coordinate stakeholders.
