Job summary

SonSet Solutions is seeking an Accountant to manage donations and financial operations supporting our faith-based ministry. You will deposit donations, maintain accurate in QuickBooks, and prepare donor reports for scheduled batches.

The role requires detail-oriented individuals with experience in accounting software and strong financial record-keeping skills, including ACH and credit card processing, while aligning with our Statement of Faith and mission.

Qualifications

• Must be a follower of Jesus Christ with a heart for the gospel.
• Committed to SonSet Solutions' Statement of Faith.
• Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Donor Perfect) preferred.
• Proficient in financial record-keeping and report generation.
• Comfortable with ACH/credit card processing and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Process and deposit donations, ensuring accurate record-keeping in QuickBooks.
• Generate and verify donor reports for various payment batches and schedules.
• Review, approve, and process expense reports and reimbursements.
• Manage credit card transactions and assign charges to appropriate accounts.
• Create purchase orders and coordinate approvals for recurring expenses.
• Oversee petty cash management and monthly reconciliation.
• Track and allocate departmental expenses and copy charges.
• Support financial reporting and maintain accurate donation records.
