• 8+ years in customer-facing technical roles, program management, operational transformation, or complex deployment environments.
• Proven experience shipping automations, agents, workflows, integrations, or AI-enabled tools in customer environments.
• Experience configuring products, writing integration logic, and delivering production‑ready solutions.
• Comfort working across hardware, software, cloud, AI-enabled technologies, and integrated systems.
• Strong communication with technical teams and senior stakeholders, including command staff.

Responsibilities

• Discover agency problems onsite and translate them into buildable, compliant solutions tied to mission outcomes.
• Design and ship working tools on Axon’s platform, including AI agents, workflows, automations, integrations, and data pipelines.
• Configure, integrate, and extend DEMS, Fusus, AI Era, Records, and related systems in agency environments.
• Iterate in the field until adoption sticks and document reusable patterns.
• Troubleshoot onsite and coordinate root‑cause resolution across Product, Engineering, Support, and Services.
• Build and deploy AI‑powered workflows using agents, prompts, RAG, and evaluations.
• Drive hands‑on adoption and measure usage, workflow impact, and mission outcomes.

Job description

• Discover agency problems onsite and translate them into buildable, compliant solutions tied to mission outcomes
• Design and ship working tools on Axon’s platform, including AI agents, workflows, automations, integrations, and data pipelines
• Configure, integrate, and extend DEMS, Fusus, AI Era, Records, and related systems in agency environments
• Iterate in the field until adoption sticks and document reusable patterns
• Apply CJIS, evidence integrity, and privacy guardrails
• Troubleshoot onsite and coordinate root‑cause resolution across Product, Engineering, Support, and Services
• Build and deploy AI‑powered workflows using agents, prompts, RAG, and evaluations
• Drive hands‑on adoption and measure usage, workflow impact, and mission outcomes
• Assess onsite workflows, identify friction, and define solutions
• Lead QBRs, mission reviews, and strategic planning with agency stakeholders
• Define success metrics and capture deployment baselines
• Share customer insights and workflow patterns with Product and Engineering
• Turn one‑off builds into reusable playbooks and operational frameworks
• Identify expansion opportunities and partner with Sales on account strategy
• Maintain onsite presence approximately 3‑4 days per week
• Track customer success metrics and support Sales‑to‑Post‑Sales onboarding and handoff

Requirements

• Typically 8+ years of experience in customer-facing technical roles, program management, operational transformation, or complex deployment environments
• Proven experience shipping working automations, agents, workflows, integrations, or AI-enabled tools in customer environments
• Experience configuring products, writing integration logic, and delivering production‑ready solutions
• Comfort working across hardware, software, cloud, AI-enabled technologies, and integrated systems
• Strong communication with technical teams and senior stakeholders, including command staff
• Ability to navigate competing priorities across Product, Engineering, Sales, Support, and Services
• Ability to obtain and maintain CJIS compliance and adhere to security standards
• Experience in public safety, law enforcement, corrections, or mission‑critical operational environments preferred
• Familiarity with Records, Evidence, digital workflows, AI-enabled platforms, or integrated public safety ecosystems preferred
• Background in forward‑deployed engineering, solutions architecture, or operational transformation at scale preferred
