Job summary

Paramount seeks an experienced enterprise software architect to design and build the next generation of its business-critical systems, leveraging .NET, Python, and Node.js with modern Angular/TypeScript front-ends.

You will lead AI-driven workflows, MCP-enabled integrations, and secure, scalable deployments while driving multi-region observability and high-availability practices across Paramount’s technology stack.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise software development experience.
• Deep experience with .NET, Python, or Node.js in a business-critical setting.
• 3+ years of experience with Angular and TypeScript.
• Hands-on production experience with AI development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot agent mode, and/or Claude Code.
• Discipline around review, testing, and code ownership.
• Working knowledge of MCP for integrating AI tools with local and remote data sources.
• Ability to explain complex technical and AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executive management.
• Preferred: Azure AI Services, AWS Bedrock AgentCore, Vertex AI Agent Builder, or similar.

Job description

• Architect and build the next generation of Paramount’s business-critical systems


• Deploy agentic workflows and MCP-enabled tools to bridge legacy APIs with modern application services


• Automate boilerplate, refactoring, and legacy-system porting to an Angular front end backed by Python, .NET, or Node.js


• Transform natural-language requirements and user stories into executable specifications, intent-based tasks, and acceptance criteria


• Generate supporting documentation, diagrams, and impact analyses


• Explore architectural directions and move from concepts to draft pull requests using AI iteration


• Implement AI-driven unit, integration, and property-based testing agents


• Lead human-in-the-loop reviews of AI-generated commits while maintaining architecture, security, and compliance


• Curate codebase context, agent rules, and MCP servers; optimize developer-facing AI tools for token usage, latency, and accuracy


• Apply OWASP standards and security practices for data and intellectual-property protection, encryption, key storage and rotation, and threat defense


• Estimate effort and milestones using AI-assisted planning


• Translate delivery metrics into actionable status updates for executive stakeholders

Requirements

• 5+ years of enterprise software development experience


• Deep experience with .NET, Python, or Node.js in a business-critical setting


• 3+ years of experience with Angular and TypeScript


• Hands‑on production experience with AI development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot agent mode, and/or Claude Code

• Preferred: 3+ years of database modeling, storage, and retrieval using SQL and/or NoSQL, including complex queries


• Preferred: experience with Azure DevOps or equivalent build and release pipelines


• Preferred: knowledge of system prompts, chain‑of‑thought prompting, planning and agent modes, and rules files


• Preferred: experience migrating systems using agentic AI


• Preferred: open‑source AI contributions


• Preferred: advanced Azure AI or cloud architecture certifications


• Preferred: experience with RPA tools such as Automation Anywhere or UiPath


• Preferred: batch scheduling, queuing, or integration technology experience
