Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store is seeking a dynamic Store Manager to lead one of our stores and drive efficient operations, staff management, and community engagement. We're looking for an experienced leader to oversee staffing, sales performance, and customer service, while upholding our mission to support those in need.

You will manage banking, record keeping, and time/attendance, ensuring compliance and strong financial controls.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience in staff management and development or combination of education and experience.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Proficiency in cash handling and basic financial management.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Excellent English communication with customers and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and supervise store staff and manage scheduling.
• Oversee donation processes, pricing, presentation, and inventory controls.
• Maintain a positive shopping environment and customer service standards.
• Provide daily production and sales reports and communicate with managers.
• Recruit and interview staff with Regional Manager oversight and perform time/attendance reviews.
