Volunteers of America Northern California and Northern Nevada is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to oversee full-cycle recruiting across California and Nevada, with emphasis on frontline and case management roles.

You will partner with HR and program leaders, optimize the ATS, and support onboarding while upholding nonprofit values and equitable hiring practices. This is a full-time role offering a mission-driven environment and opportunities to engage with community partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in full cycle recruiting or talent acquisition; multi-site experience preferred.
• Experience recruiting in nonprofit or mission-driven environments and knowledge of ATS/EOE considerations.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting across California and Nevada, focusing on frontline and case management roles.
• Forecast staffing needs with HR Manager, HR Generalist, and program leaders.
• Post job announcements, screen applications, coordinate interviews, and support offers and onboarding.
• Coordinate job fairs, hiring events, and community outreach to promote VOA as an employer of choice.
