Job summary

Goodwill Kentucky is seeking a high-energy Store Manager to lead all store operations in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. You will supervise a team, optimize processes, and drive sales while upholding our values of dignity, service, hope, and partnership in Kentucky.

The role requires 1–3 years of management experience, a High School Diploma or GED (Bachelor’s preferred), flexibility for a rotating schedule, and travel to other locations as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of management/supervisory experience.
• Retail, logistics, warehouse, or light manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Must be able to work a rotating schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Travel to other locations beyond the assigned work location is required.

Responsibilities

• Key decision maker in improving operational processes and workflows with the senior store manager.
• Manage store expense control and payroll to optimize business.
• Focus staff on Loss Prevention priorities and Safety Awareness.
• Follow company guidelines to foster a positive shopping experience.
• Train, develop, and manage a team of Associates and Assistant Managers.
• Ability to make good hiring decisions while following the company’s hiring process.
• Manage and coach all associates on achieving sales goals with a focus on key metrics.
• Develop a culture of goal attainment aligned with the company’s mission, vision, and values.
