Job summary

Goodwill Kentucky is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations in a fast-paced environment. You will help lead a team, ensure excellent customer service, and manage merchandise, payroll, and scheduling under the Store Manager's direction.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and 1–3 years of retail or manufacturing ops experience, with prior management experience preferred. This is a full-time, on-site position with a focus on mission-driven work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of progressive experience in retail or manufacturing operations.
• Prior management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assumes management responsibilities in absence of Store Manager.
• Assists Store Manager in ordering merchandise and record keeping including payroll, scheduling and cash register deposits and receipts.
• Supervises, trains, and develops Store Associates on operating practices and procedures.
• Maintains a positive shopping experience with excellent customer service and a well-stocked store.
• Supports Store Manager in loss prevention efforts.
