Job summary

The Immigrant Legal Resource Center (ILRC) is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee multiple California-based projects, ensuring effective implementation, compliance, and reporting. The role will supervise staff, coordinate with internal departments, and engage with funders and external partners.

The successful candidate will manage subgrants, monitor progress, and contribute to strategic planning while traveling across California as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience managing large and complex projects with primary responsibility for coordination and implementation.
• Non-profit experience and grants management knowledge are essential.
• Excellent oral and written communication, facilitation and presentation skills.
• Advanced data analysis and handling large data sets.
• Proficiency with Excel formulas, graphs, and pivot tables; data visualization knowledge a plus.
• Familiarity with immigration legal services and/or government agencies is preferred.
• Willingness and ability to travel across California at least monthly.

Responsibilities

• Oversee implementation, compliance, and reporting across several projects as Program Administrator.
• Lead at least one large project and coordinate multiple projects across ILRC programs.
• Supervise project staff and provide professional development and tools.
• Plan strategic discussions to ensure responsive, resource-efficient, and scalable projects.
• Coordinate with finance, grants, and administrative teams on subgrants and payments.
• Engage external partners, funders, and state agencies; report findings and trends.
• Communicate data and findings to funders and internal teams.
• Participate in regular remote and in-person meetings with stakeholders.
