Job summary

The Immigrant Legal Resource Center (ILRC) is hiring a Project Manager to oversee a robust statewide program from our San Francisco headquarters. This exempt, bargaining-unit role reports to a Directing Attorney and operates with two in-office days weekly under a hybrid model.

Responsibilities include coordinating regional partners, tracking reporting and fiscal management, and maintaining communication systems. The role emphasizes grants, subgranting, and data-driven program improvement.

Qualifications

• Preferably have previous experience working with or in government agencies.
• Have program management experience, preferably related to grants compliance and administration.
• Five to eight years of relevant experience.
• Preferably have a bachelor’s degree.
• Be passionate about immigrant rights.
• Advanced aptitude for complex data analysis and managing large data sets.
• Advanced Excel skills including formulas, graphs and pivot tables; knowledge of data visualization.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 products including Excel, SharePoint, Word and PowerPoint.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills including facilitation and presentation skills.
• Experience designing and managing events and other learning opportunities.
• Salesforce experience is a plus.
• Experience managing large and complex projects; PM certification is a plus.
• Ability to collaborate cross-departmentally; team player; problem solver; building phase of new project.
• Keen attention to detail; diversity, equity, and inclusion awareness; growth mindset.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for partners’ program and grant managers; coordinate with funders.
• Communicate program goals, initiatives, and results to stakeholders.
• Engage with partners to ensure timely grant deliverables and reporting.
• Monitor program progress and provide technical assistance to partners.
• Coordinate ILRC project components with other ILRC efforts.
• Participate in strategic planning to align with community needs.
• Plan and facilitate virtual and in‑person events and large meetings.
• Attend remote and in‑person funder meetings; document meetings and decisions.
