Denver Health is seeking a Patient Access Specialist for Southeast Medical Center FQHC. The role serves as the first point of contact, registering patients, verifying insurance, collecting payments, and maintaining accurate demographic data to support billing and care access.

Under minimal supervision, you will help ensure smooth clinic flow, timely access to care, and a positive patient experience, with flexible coverage across clinics as needed. Prior experience is not required.

Formación

• No high school diploma or GED required.
• No experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Registers and checks in patients for outpatient services; maintains encounters in the EHR.
• Explains financial responsibilities and collects payments at the time of service.
• Collaborates with clinic leadership and staff to support efficient flow and timely access.
• Verifies insurance eligibility and benefits using payer portals; coordinates with related teams to resolve issues.
• Meets productivity, quality, and accuracy standards and participates in audits.
• Provides coverage across departments as needed; complies with regulatory requirements.
