Job summary

Marianist Province of the United States is seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to provide strategic leadership and comprehensive oversight of all HR functions for a mission-driven, faith-based organization. You will ensure legal compliance across multiple jurisdictions, uphold Catholic identity, and manage recruitment, payroll, benefits, and risk management.

As a one-person HR office, you will shape policies, lead employee relations, oversee performance management, and align HR

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in HR operations and leadership.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies aligned with organizational values.
• Proficiency in employee relations and conflict resolution.
• Experience in performance management and goal setting.
• Solid understanding of labor and employment law.

Responsibilities

• Act as the organization’s primary HR advisor to leadership.
• Develop and maintain HR policies and systems supporting the mission.
• Ensure ethical, confidential, and compliant HR practices.
• Lead full-cycle recruitment and onboarding processes.
• Oversee benefits, payroll, and compensation administration.
• Manage workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs.
• Coordinate performance appraisal processes and training initiatives.
