Job summary

Marianist is seeking a Human Resources Director to lead all HR functions for our Catholic nonprofit in the St. Louis area.

You will act as a strategic partner to leadership and oversee recruitment, benefits, payroll, policy development, and employee relations. You will also ensure day-to-day HR operations comply with employment laws and best practices, while promoting a respectful workplace aligned with our mission and values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive HR experience.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
• Experience in employee relations, recruitment, payroll, and benefits administration.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion.
• Experience in a Catholic, religious, or nonprofit organization and HR certification (SHRM or HRCI) preferred.

Responsibilities
