Job summary

TRM Labs seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to deploy our AI-powered platform into customer environments, often sitting with end users to shape solutions. You will work across code, Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, and data pipelines, ensuring mission success in constrained environments.

Ideal candidates combine Python/Node.js skills, hands-on Kubernetes, and production AWS experience, with strong communication to stakeholders and the ability to adapt to fast-paced, high-stakes settings.

Qualifications

• Strong programming ability in Python and/or Node.js/TypeScript with fluency in AI integration.
• Hands-on Kubernetes: deploying, debugging, and reasoning about real workloads.
• Production AWS experience — building environments, not just consuming them.
• Relational databases experience (PostgreSQL or similar): design and tuning.
• Experience delivering outside primary specialty or learning new platforms as project needs.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication; able to present to customers.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, integrate and operate TRM's platform inside customer environments, including cloud and air-gapped setups.
• Sit with mission users to translate needs into working software and build integrations, data pipelines, and prototypes.
• Deliver across diverse areas including application code, Kubernetes, cloud infra, and data flows.
